Well we all know that snapping pictures can be so addictive you tend to forget to develop your photos. Having a digital camera is cool but the Xiao just made it more Polaroid. The Xiao is the first digital camera with a built in printer and it does not require ink.

Japanese toy maker Tomy Takara has beaten Polaroid to manufacture a camera with a built in printer. The XIAOTIP 521 utilizes Zink's inkless printing technology to replicate what Polaroid has done with its instant film shooters.

Ask your parents, and they'll probably tell you Polaroid cameras were the iPhone of their day. I'm not that old, but I still remember them being all the rage when I was growing up because you could see your snapshots almost instantaneously. Thank goodness for the digital camera though, because no matter how awesome Polaroids were, the quality of those photos was just terrible.
